Why don’t you create larger bottles instead of shots to save plastic?Updated a month ago

We understand that using larger bottles might seem like a more sustainable choice, and we truly appreciate the suggestion. At The Turmeric Co., 🌱 sustainability is one of our core commitments — and we’re constantly working to reduce our environmental impact while maintaining the highest standards for product quality and effectiveness.

However, there are a few important reasons why we’ve chosen to continue using our 60ml shot format:

🧊 Preservation of Freshness and Nutrients

Our shots are 100% fresh, cold-pressed, and preservative-free. To naturally extend shelf life while preserving nutritional value, we use a method called High Pressure Processing (HPP). This process works best with small, sealed servings.
Larger bottles would be opened and closed multiple times, exposing the contents to air and potentially causing a loss of freshness, flavour, and nutrients.

⏱️ Convenience and Accurate Dosing

Each 60ml shot is perfectly portioned to deliver the optimal daily dose of our powerful turmeric blend. Larger bottles would require measuring each serving, which could lead to inconsistent dosing — affecting your experience and the benefits you receive.

🌍 Recyclable and Sustainable Packaging

We’re proud to say our bottles are made from:

  • ♻️ 75% recycled plastic (rPET)

  • 🍃 25% biodegradable plastic derived from sugarcane

All components are fully recyclable at home, and we actively encourage rinsing and recycling every bottle and cap. We’re also continuously exploring new materials and packaging innovations to improve sustainability.

🚀 Ongoing Innovation

We’re always looking ahead. While our current format ensures maximum freshness, convenience, and consistency, we’re actively investing in new solutions that reduce environmental impact — without compromising product quality or effectiveness.
